Christmas…

Christmas sucks when you’re poor, and you forget things…

I got a pair of cookie cutters, a snowflake and a dog silhouette that looks a lot like our Samson, for my mom. I had it in a neat little box and it was all wrapped and ready to be opened. I forgot it, though.

I got some money from my dad, a heated blanket, a recipe card box, a pair of jeans I traded in for a rice cooker, and a badge-a-minit button maker. Oh, and an envelope box full of scrap paper for non-good printing needs. I was really tired at the time and I didn’t want to be there so I wasn’t all too enthusiastic. It also sucks when you know it’s not going to be much. That and our big ole’ tree that touches the ceiling wasn’t up…

I think all of the disappoinment melted away during my little nap.

New Year’s I’m going to spend with some friends at the Sheraton Suite in Cuyahoga Falls (not sure if I spelled that right…). We’re having dinner at Hibachi Japanese Grill and it should hopefully be a blast, with champange.

I’ve been snailing my way through the preparations for this webcomic. I have to finish three more people and get started on some other things and settings. I made a map I think needs a little retouching but it’s coming along. I’m also working on what I’m going to to after the first story is over, not to mention the big one I plan on releasing in print.

Well, I’ll say that my next topic is this tiring struggle between the jump to technology and some people just being more comfortable with things being printed and in their hands…
Hope everyone had a good Holiday and we can hopefully anticipate a good new year. Come to think of it it will be a full year soon that Obama has been president…
