Description
Calm is a serene portrait. As an illustration I went for a different look than usual.
Despite appearances it is digital. For that reason care and experimentation went into attaining the natural look. All in all it took many different brushes and a texture overlay. Finally, textured cardstock finishes the illusion.
The original drawing is a quick doodle. Since it was on a scrap of paper I had to be careful moving it around. Opposite from my usual line of work. I worked with five different wet media brushes in Clip Studio Paint.
